iPhone 6S Screen Flickering Issue

#Apple is best known for releasing #iPhone models with great displays. The #iPhone6s for example is one of these models. This device has a 4.7 inch Retina display that has a resolution of 1334 by 750 pixels. In most cases, the device owner won’t have any problems with the display. In some cases though, certain issues can occur.

In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will take a look at one problem which our reader has sent us regarding the iPhone 6S screen flickering issue.
iPhone 6S Screen Flickering Issue
Problem: My mobile screen starts flickering and shivering all of a sudden,I am unable to use my mobile during this time. It continues forever until I forcibly switch it off somehow. On restart ,I leave the device as such at rest for sometime and fortunately the flicker subsides. But it will begin again after an hour or two. My warranty period got over few weeks back and I started noticing this problem only after the above period was over. Kindly advise.
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to check if the phone software is causing the problem. It could either be caused by an app you installed, some corrupt data in the device, or a glitch in the phone software itself.
The quickest way to troubleshoot the software is to perform a hard reset on the device. Make sure to backup your phone data before performing this procedure.
  • Open the Settings app.
  • Navigate to General > Reset.
  • Tap Reset All Settings. You may have to reenter your passcode to do so.
Once the reset is done do not install anything on the device. You should first check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then go ahead and restore your data.

If however after the reset the issue still occurs then you need to bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
