The Microsoft Lumia 950 flaunts a 5.2-inch QHD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) AMOLED display with a pixel density of 565ppi. The display provides amazing clarity and rich images. A 3,300mAh li-ion battery, providing up to 24 hours of talk-time in 2G networks is situated inside the phone. The connectivity options in the device includes 3G, 4G, GLONASS, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, computer sync, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, OTA sync, USB port, USB Type-C etc. The phone comes with a unique feature called the 'Windows Continuum'. This lets you turn your phone into a Windows PC with the help of a Microsoft Display Dock. You can run all your applications full screen and also use a keyboard and a mouse along with the device.

The Microsoft Lumia 550 arrives with a 4.7-inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels which leads to the pixel density of 312ppi. The Capacitive touchscreen phone weighs 141.9 grams which make it slim and light. The device is available in Black and White colours.

Configuration and OS

The Lumia 550 derives its strength from 1.1GHz quad-core processor seated on a Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 Chipset. It is backed by 1GB RAM which collaborates with the processor to make sure the device functions up to its potential. The smartphone is powered by Windows 10 operating system, the latest version of Windows.

Camera and Storage

The device is stacked with a 5MP main camera which lets you capture your favourite moments. For selfies and video calling, it sports a 2MP front camera. The Microsoft Lumia 550 experiments in a low budget smartphones segment and with this device it does a decent job by bringing good overall features. However, comparing the device with some Android phones in the same budget, it is not that powerful. It could have done with better front camera and a 2GB RAM.
